Rustic Wooden & Mason Jar Tiered Dessert Stand

Materials
5 wooden rounds (varying sizes: 4 inches, 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches, 12 inches in diameter)
4 wide-mouth mason jars (each 6 inches in height)
Wood glue
Clear varnish or sealant
Sandpaper (medium and fine grit)
Directions
Begin by sanding each wooden round with medium grit sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges. Follow with fine grit sandpaper for a polished finish.
Apply a thin coat of clear varnish or sealant to each wooden round to protect the wood and enhance its natural grain. Allow to dry completely.
Place the largest wooden round (12 inches) on a flat surface. Center a mason jar on top, and apply wood glue around the rim of the jar. Firmly press the second largest wooden round (10 inches) on top of the jar.
Repeat the process by stacking the mason jars and wooden rounds, alternating sizes, until you reach the smallest wooden round (4 inches) at the top.
Ensure each layer is centered and aligned before the glue sets. Allow the entire structure to dry and cure for at least 24 hours to ensure stability.

Variations & Tips
For a personalized touch, consider staining the wooden rounds in different shades to match your home decor. Alternatively, paint the wooden surfaces with chalk paint for a shabby chic appearance. Swap out the mason jars for metallic candle holders to add a touch of elegance, or use colored glass jars for a playful, vibrant look. These variations allow you to tailor the dessert stand to suit various themes and occasions while maintaining its rustic charm.
