Retro Rainbow Candle Holders

Materials
Assorted old crayons (at least 50 pieces in various colors)
1 vintage muffin tin (standard size, preferably tarnished silver)
3 taper candles (white or any complementary color)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
Remove all paper wrappers from the crayons and break them into small pieces.
Place the broken crayon pieces into the wells of the vintage muffin tin, arranging colors as desired.
Put the muffin tin in the oven and let the crayons melt for about 10-15 minutes until completely liquid.
Carefully remove the tin from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes, then insert the base of each taper candle into the center of three different wells, ensuring they stand upright.
Allow the crayons to fully cool and harden around the candle bases.
Once cooled, gently pop the crayon bases out of the muffin tin, now firmly holding the taper candles.

Variations & Tips
To add a personalized touch, try using silicone baking molds in different shapes instead of a muffin tin. You can also experiment with scented crayons or by adding essential oils to the melted wax for an aromatic enhancement. Additionally, vary the color palette to match seasonal themes or room decor, such as using pastel crayons for a springtime display or reds and greens for a festive holiday look.
